Kelly Peterson is a board-certified nurse practitioner with a passion for aesthetic and functional medicine, focused on helping patients feel confident, radiant, and well from the inside out. She earned her master’s degree in nursing from Vanderbilt University in 2014 and began her career in trauma and general surgery, building a strong clinical foundation rooted in patient-centered care.
After working with a plastic and facial surgery group in Seattle, Kelly discovered her passion for aesthetic medicine and enhancing natural beauty. Since relocating to San Diego in 2019, she has focused exclusively on medical aesthetics and functional medicine, completing hundreds of hours of advanced training in bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, endocrinology, metabolic health, peptide therapy, and functional medicine.
Kelly takes an integrative, root-cause approach to aging, hormonal balance, and metabolic health, creating highly personalized treatment plans that support both aesthetic outcomes and long-term vitality. She is also deeply committed to education and mentorship, developing training programs and supporting providers in integrating functional medicine into their practices.
Kelly practices in California and offers telehealth services in select states, including Montana and Nevada. Together with Janeane, she is dedicated to creating a welcoming, trust-centered environment that prioritizes longevity and meaningful patient relationships.
Outside of the clinic, Kelly enjoys skiing, hiking, traveling, golf, attending sporting events, and spending time with her husband, two step-daughters, and family.
